Easy to implement automated control


Principle: The frequency converter has standard communication interfaces and rich control functions, which can seamlessly connect with automation equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial computers, facilitating the automation control of the production process. Through programming, remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, and parameter setting of the motor can be achieved.


Case: In an automated production line, a frequency converter is used in conjunction with a PLC to automatically adjust the motor speed and operating status according to production process requirements, achieving automated control of the production process. At the same time, through the communication interface of the frequency converter, the operating parameters of the motor can be transmitted in real time to the monitoring center, making it convenient for management personnel to monitor and manage the production process.



The starting process of the frequency converter is as follows:


When the frequency converter receives a high-level signal from the RUN terminal, it will start running. For simple application scenarios, a self-protection button switch can meet the requirements. When the button is pressed, its internal self-locking mechanism will keep the circuit closed, providing a continuous high-level signal to the RUN terminal of the frequency converter, thereby starting the frequency converter.


The starting of the frequency converter can achieve soft starting of the motor, gradually increasing from low frequency and low voltage, significantly reducing the starting current, minimizing the impact on the power grid, and reducing the electrical stress on the motor winding.
